Sach Capital Limited
This Privacy Policy explains how Sach Capital Limited ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you use sachinkotecha.com (the "website").
Data Controller
The data controller for personal information collected through this website is Sach Capital Limited. To contact us about your personal information, email info@sachcapital.com.
Information We Collect
Website use
We collect basic technical information when you visit the website, including IP address, browser type, pages visited and approximate location. This is used for security and, where you have consented, analytics.
Contact enquiries
When you submit a contact form, we collect the information you provide: name, email, telephone (if provided), enquiry type and message.
Mentoring applications
When you submit a mentoring application, we collect the detailed information you provide voluntarily. This includes contact details, country and timezone, trading experience, markets traded, your current trading process, challenges and goals, mentoring requirements, budget range, start timeline, readiness, and expectations. Some fields are optional and are clearly marked.
Mentoring-application information is used to: assess your mentoring requirements; determine whether there may be an appropriate educational programme; prepare for an introductory conversation; communicate with you; and manage the prospective mentoring relationship.
We do not use mentoring-application data for unrelated marketing unless you have given separate consent.
Trading-capital range
The optional trading-capital range you may provide is used only to help tailor risk-management education appropriately. It is not used to display pricing or to make any assessment of you beyond the educational fit.
Referral and UTM information
Where available, we capture referring page and UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign) to understand how you found the website. This is used for attribution and improvement, not to identify you personally beyond what you have provided.
Lawful Bases for Processing
We process personal information under the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:
- Consent — for analytics cookies and any optional marketing communications (e.g. WhatsApp consent).
- Contractual / pre-contractual steps — for processing mentoring applications and enquiries, which are steps taken at your request prior to entering a potential mentoring agreement.
- Legitimate interests — for security, preventing abuse, and responding to enquiries, where these do not override your rights.
Data Minimisation
We aim to collect only the information necessary for the purposes described. Optional fields are clearly marked, and you are not required to provide them.
Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary:
- Active mentoring leads: retained while the enquiry is active, plus a reasonable follow-up period.
- Unsuccessful or inactive applications: deleted or anonymised after a configured retention period, unless there is a legitimate reason to retain them.
- Contact enquiries: retained only as long as necessary to respond and record the enquiry.
- Legal/accounting records: retained as required by applicable law.
Retention periods are configurable by an administrator and are reviewed periodically.
Recipients and Processors
We use third-party providers to operate the website, including hosting providers, email delivery providers, and (where consented) analytics providers. These providers process personal information on our behalf as processors and are bound by appropriate agreements.
Spam Protection (Google reCAPTCHA)
This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply. We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 on our contact and mentoring application forms to protect against spam and automated abuse. reCAPTCHA may collect information about your device and browser, including your IP address, to determine whether you are human. The reCAPTCHA score is used only for spam prevention at the time of submission and is not stored in our database.
International Transfers
Some providers may process personal information outside the UK. Where this occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements or recognised transfer mechanisms, and we work to ensure your information is protected to UK standards.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and limiting access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your UK GDPR Rights
You have the following rights:
- Access — to obtain a copy of your personal information.
- Rectification — to correct inaccurate information.
- Erasure — to request deletion in certain circumstances.
- Restriction — to limit processing in certain circumstances.
- Objection — to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Portability — to receive certain information in a structured, machine-readable format, where applicable.
- Withdrawal of consent — at any time, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@sachcapital.com.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your personal information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Children
This website and mentoring services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
